These soft inclusive pajamas are favorites for my grandkids. They loved the story that went along with the pajamas too!
We bought the Bodhi Blue Kids Bamboo Pajamas for our 3-year-old daughter who has achromatopsia and is proudly in her “I can do it myself!” era. We try to incorporate accommodations that don’t rely on vision, and these pajamas truly support that.
The subtle braille cue at the tag-free neckline gives her tactile information to find the front and put them on correctly by herself. She’s just starting to learn braille and can’t yet read the word, but the tactile marker alone gives her the feedback she needs. It’s the first sleepwear she can put on completely independently—an incredible accessibility win.
The bamboo fabric is soft, stretchy, breathable, and has stayed that way after multiple washes with no pilling or stiffness. Snug-fitting for safety, but still easy for little hands to pull on.
We love the thoughtful design and the empowering butterfly print. I hope this idea expands to more clothing items—non-visual design like this makes independence possible.
