Why We Exist

Getting dressed shouldn’t be another struggle.

Penny’s Pixies exists to make getting dressed easier — for kids learning to do more on their own and the adults supporting them.

What we make is simple: soft, thoughtfully designed pajamas.
Why we make them is personal.

How It Started

Penny’s Pixies began because my daughter wanted to get dressed on her own — without having to ask:

• Which way is the front?
• Am I wearing this right?
• Are my clothes inside out?

As her parent, I wanted her to feel capable. As a single mother, I was tired of doing everything for her.

And underneath it all was fear: How do I help my blind daughter become more independent without needing me all the time?

What started as small problem-solving at home became something bigger — clothing designed to reduce guesswork and support confidence during everyday routines.

What We Focus On

At Penny’s Pixies, we focus on one simple thing:

Making it easier for kids to get dressed on their own.

Not by adding more steps.
Not by over-instructing.
But by designing clothing that feels clear, intuitive, and supportive from the start.

Penny’s Pixies is designed for a wide range of children — including blind, visually impaired, and sighted kids.
